This menu is used to select the menu language. There is a choice between

German and English menu prompting. A change in menu language does not

become effective until the program is restarted.

5.6.2 Date

This command is used to switch automatic date acceptance on and off during

measurements. If “Date” is activated (ticked), the date and time of sieving is

transferred automatically and shown in the measurement log as well as in the

characteristics window. When the date acceptance is deactivated, the appropriate

fields remain free.

5.6.3 Activation of Task Mode

The task mode is always activated after installing the software. This menu item is

therefore inactive. In task mode all menus are enabled and all parameters of

relevance to sieving can be edited.

In the active measuring mode the task mode can be activated only when a valid

password has been inputted. The standard password is “password”.

5.6.4 Activation of the Measuring Mode

To prevent parameters being altered unintentionally, the software can be put into

measuring mode. In this mode the user can only conduct measurements and make

evaluations.

If the “Activate measuring mode” menu item is selected, the user is asked to input

and confirm a password for returning to the task mode.

Note: Please be careful with passwords to prevent abuse and unwanted software

disablements.

This menu item is used for selecting the fonts for the evaluation windows. The

selected set-up is saved and is also available for calling up the following programs.
